Awhile back, we received Kiwi Crate with a complimentary trial of their making music single crate. If you are not familiar with Kiwi Crate, they are a company that specializes in creating ingenious crafts projects for kids in the age ranges of 3 to 7 with various themes that help with motor skills, mental processing and cognitive development. Projects are very hands on and open ended creating a world of imagination that can sometimes be duplicated with recycled items around the house.
We receive the making music box and my daughter loved not only creating this toy but also playing with it. I wholeheartedly believe in the research about music in helping kids with their mental development and I’m glad that Kiwi Crate had such a great crate among the many themes that have to choose from.
Kiwi Crate is a subscription service that starts at about $16.95 a month. Each month kids get a new craft crate that help in their learning and development. Great for hot summer days, cold winter nights, rainy days or any time – the crates are great for kids to learn and play.
In the video below, here my daughter sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the xylophone she made. All while we were at the playground at McDonald’s. It’s easy to take anywhere if you are traveling and it offers great entertainment. Enough to keep her wanting to play the toy rather than jump on the playground.
